Based on the 30-min short film of the same name, Wolfe in Waiting expands the story while preserving the aspects that makes the film stand out. At it's core, the story is about modern American Imperialism,

the toxic black and white mentality behind it, and cycle of violence inflicted on society as a result of its collateral damage. It is written with the intention of using an audience's black and white thinking as a device, revealing the ease with which we can all wrongly slip into a polarized mindset.

After turning up barely alive after being missing for weeks, CIA agent Arturo debriefs with his supervisors, revealing he came face to face with notorious terrorist Marius Wolfe. Days earlier, Arturo tracks down Wolfe to a tent in a remote Alpine ravine, taking him into custody and calling for extraction. But when an unexpected storm rolls in, Arturo is forced to stay put with the man allegedly responsible for the bomb that killed his mother.

Arturo interrogates Wolfe who insists that the infamous Panama bombing was not done by him, but instead a false-flag operation by his own agency. Wolfe claims that his own mother was also killed by the agency. Arturo loses his cool, waterboarding Wolfe with his own vintage wine before a remote info-request is received back from his agency, confirming details of Wolfe’s story. Suddenly, when Arturo’s guard is down, Wolfe uses a bomb hidden in plain sight to get the better of Arturo, but before Wolfe can slip away Arturo puts him in the sights of his gun.

With an injured Arturo slowly freezing to death, the two are at a stalemate. Wolfe is Arturo’s only chance to get off the mountain, and Arturo is the only one with a gun. Wolfe claims he is ready to die, but instead offers a bargain - survival in exchange for taking down the man really responsible for the Panama bombing and the deaths of both their mothers - agency boss, ‘Bishop’. Will Arturo believe Wolfe, put their differences aside, and kill the man debriefing him?
