ABOUT
Paul Oakley Stovall currently plays the role of George Washington in the first national tour of Lin Manuel Miranda’s tony award winning hit musical HAMILTON. Other credits include Angels In America directed by Tony award winner David Cromer and television appearances on Lena Waithe and Common’s Showtime hit THE CHI, as well as SHAMELESS, EMPIRE and CHICAGO FIRE. He was also featured in John Cameron Mitchell’s SHORTBUS and the late Robert Altman’s THE COMPANY. Paul was also a staff writer on SURVIVOR’S REMORSE (STARZ) starring Tichina Arnold. His hit play IMMEDIATE FAMILY was featured at the Goodman Theatre and Mark Taper Forum, directed by Phylicia Rashād.
Paul spent six years as an advance staff lead and media logistics coordinator for First Lady Michelle Obama, after spending a year as a Press Lead for President Obama.
