ABOUT THE SHOW
ADVANCE is a political drama with doses of levity. At its center is Rae Ruemmler, a 30- something Latina who leads an advance team in the high stakes but largely unknown arena of political logistics coordination. While juggling the stressful life of traveling and event planning on political campaigns, Rae tries to have a personal life, and wonders how long she can run on this hamster wheel. But every time she vows that “this campaign is the last one”, she soon realizes she can’t quit a life that allows her to affect the course of history while remaining in the shadows, even if it stops her from having the happy normal life she someday aspires to.
